Tarunpal

Tarunpal created The Green Space Project (TGSP) with a focus on engagement, advocacy and education on climate change issues. The project aims to help elementary and secondary schools in Peel Region create public green spaces by providing students and teachers with educational workshops, resource toolkits and support with finding funding opportunities.

Residing in the City of Brampton, Tarunpal hopes to contribute to climate action through his passion for the environment and strong background in science. He believes the environment is not just a habitat for various species but a natural resource that should be preserved for generations to come. Through YCI’s Youth Climate Leadership Program, Tarunpal hopes to develop the necessary skills to lead his climate action project and make a change within the Peel Region community.
