Sydney’s project aims to educate on sustainable fashion through social media by sharing terminology, educational resources and local sustainable businesses in the Durham and Peel Regions. She chose to focus on sustainable fashion since it is a global issue and major contributor to climate change that is often overlooked.
Sydney is currently living in Durham Region. Through YCI’s Youth Climate Leadership Program, she hopes to develop her leadership skills and inspire people to make more conscious choices with their future purchases by sharing info on the issues surrounding fast fashion.
