Growing up in the west end of Toronto near the lake, Rosemary was constantly reminded of how important our natural environments are at a young age. By her late teens, she spent considerable time attending workshops, festivals and conferences around the environment and collaborated among other like-minded individuals. These experiences led her to create many events of her own – including a conference focused on melting polar ice caps, a sustainability-awareness trade show and a zero-waste workshop.
