Miranda has undergraduate and master’s degree in Environmental Studies from York University. She has a deep understanding of the complexity of climate science which she uses in her role as an Environmental Educator outside of the CCC. Her experiences have afforded her the opportunity to study community resilience and natural disaster risk mitigation in Central America, where she developed an interest in understanding the implications of growing natural disasters on climate refugees and public health.
