Maham created Climate Crisis Connect, a start-up initiative that aims to prepare and protect marginalized communities in Mississauga for climate disaster emergencies. The project aims to raise educational awareness on the importance of emergency preparedness, provide support resources and advocate for under-represented marginalized voices demanding action on their right to a safe home and access to support tools.
Maham resides in Mississauga and is currently in her first year of Architectural Engineering studies at the University of Waterloo. Her climate action journey began from her drive for community building and creating a sense of belonging. Maham is working to demand action to better prepare our communities for a climate disaster.
