Jill-Anne and her team at Ecoborough are mobilizing youth within the Scarborough community to reduce waste through promoting self-repair skills! She believes that with the help of local repair experts and enthusiastic tinkerers, skill-sharing connections can be cultivated within the community. Her project aims to teach and distribute accessible self-repair skills to youth in Scarborough to promote waste reduction and challenge the concept of linear consumption (take-make-dispose).
