Jaden is launching a social platform to galvanize individuals’ passion about the planet and strengthen the climate movement in Toronto. The idea is to create a social platform that can bring individuals together, starting with a series of recurring small-group discussion workshops on various climate change-related topics such as transportation emissions, the sustainability of food systems, the future of plant-based diets and the wasteful nature of consumerism.
As a third culture kid who grew up in China, people are often surprised by Jaden’s fluent Mandarin. Jaden completed a B.Sc. at the University of Toronto with a double major in Environmental Science & Psychology. While certainly curious and intrigued by the natural world as a kid, UofT truly ignited a passion to fight the greatest challenge facing their generation – the climate crisis.
