Divya became a Climate Leader to broaden her network, develop leadership skills, and learn project development and implementation strategies. Her project aims to increase community involvement in municipal politics. She’s creating a toolkit / task force that enables municipalities to better communicate with their residents and track their outreach efforts for continuous improvement to foster active civic engagement.
Divya hails from Brampton in Peel Region. She is passionate about climate action because she believes that this earth, and the species we share it with, deserve our best. She is passionate about wildlife and biodiversity conservation and youth involvement in policy-making and corporate sustainability.
