Aliyah

Aliyah is designing an online search hub that will store relevant climate science and local policies for Peel Region. Here residents can access up-to-date information and actions they can take in their community. Her initiative is designed to increase climate literacy and policy awareness for her community while serving as a blueprint that could be expanded to larger geographies.  

Aliyah is a resident of Brampton, Ontario and is a co-founder of the Community Climate Council – a youth-led, non-partisan, not-for-profit organization designed to improve climate literacy within the region of Peel. Through YCI’s Youth Climate Leadership Program, Aliyah is excited to expand her network of climate activists and collaborate with her mentor, coaches and peers.
