From recycling to organics, refuse disposal in multi-residential buildings is complex and varied. There’s a lack of resources on what can go to waste, when to do it and how to optimize. Furthermore, the COVID-19 pandemic has shown that isolation is devastating to isolated individuals within our communities. That’s the TEA believes that green committees can help resolve these knowledge gaps and lack of community unity through providing a space where committees can learn, motivate and empower each other while learning about proper waste disposal.
