Halton Youth Collective’s online database provides climate action and climate education info for Halton Hills youth, aged 12-24. The space is targeted for youth interested in climate change and action to access the tools and resources they need to learn more about what is happening in their community and get involved.
Often the science and jargon of climate change can be complicated and difficult to understand. By making concepts more accessible and bridging the gap between youth and initiatives like the Climate Action Adaptation Plan (CAAP), developed by the Town of Halton Hills, Halton Youth Collective hopes to see youth becoming more active members in enforcing and facilitating CAAP in their day-to-day lives.
