Our project addresses the pervasive issue of food waste, aiming to quantify how often individuals discard edible items. By providing insights on alternative uses for produce about to go bad, such as turning a brown bananas into banana cake, we empower students, families, and adults to make more informed decisions about food disposal. Our goal is to foster awareness, encouraging conscious consumption and minimizing unnecessary waste. The impact we aspire to achieve is a reduction in overall food waste, contributing to a more sustainable and resource-efficient lifestyle for our target audience.
