YCI does Kilimanjaro. And you can too! Are you looking for a Challenge? An adventure of epic proportions? At 5,895m above sea level, Mount Kilimanjaro, in the Republic of Tanzania, is one of the highest freestanding mountains in the world and easily one of the most famous, with the snow-capped Uhuru Peak towering above the plains below.
This October, Youth Challenge International is offering a once in a life-time opportunity to Give Thanks by climbing Kilimanjaro for charity over Canadian Thanksgiving
YCI’s Climb to Give Thanks will bring together a committed group of individuals who will experience the challenge and exhilaration of climbing Africa’s highest mountain. Climbing Mt. What are you going to do about it?Youth Challenge International (YCI), one of Canada’s leading youth development organizations, is launching a Global Action Grant program for Canadian Youth aged 18-35 interested in creating innovative solutions to youth issues in development. Three $500 grants will be awarded to young people from across Canada to fund micro-projects that raise awareness about development issues at home (here) in Canada.

| Youth Ambassador Project in GhanaYouth Challenge International (YCI) is recruiting a team of five volunteers between the ages of 18 and 35 with diverse skills, experiences and backgrounds for a twelve-week focused youth development project in Ghana from January 7, 2013 to April 1, 2013.
This exciting opportunity will include a pre-project distance-learning program, followed by an intensive twelve-week placement in Ghana. While in Ghana, you will work with YCI’s partners to further the reach and relevance of their youth development program.

| Youth Innovator Projects 2012-2013 Youth Challenge International (YCI) is currently recruiting Youth Innovators for a variety of individual and small-team partner capacity building projects in Tanzania and Ghana during 2012-2013.
Gain experience working directly with YCI staff and partners to implement CIDA programming objectives and improve your project management and implementation skills while working in an international context.
This year, YCI is looking for individuals ages 21 and older with education and/or minimum 1 year professional work experience in the following sectors:
