International Women’s Day is celebrated around the world in various ways. This year's International Women's Day is Ryerson's 8th annual. This year’s theme is Equal rights, equal opportunities: Progress for all. The International Women’s Day event committee is taking the opportunity to highlight organizations that have a mandate to empower marginalized women, both here in Canada and around the world.
