Youth Acting UP! – Recognizing the Next Generation of Global CitizensThe Ontario Council for International Cooperation (OCIC) is looking to recognize the work of inspirational youth (aged 12-30) who are acting up for global change.
Amidst the text books, school clubs, friends and family commitments, exceptional young people across Ontario and around the world are making global social justice one of their everyday priorities. They may be addressing global poverty, helping to make education more accessible, or trying to better our world in another way.
Do you know a young person who is acting up for global change? Nominate someone today for the Youth Acting UP! award.
Nomination forms are available at http://bit.ly/4nf0KE and are due by January 15, 2010.
Award recipients will be announced during International Development Week 2010 (Feb 7–13). Questions? Email Chryslyn Pais at intern@ocic.on.ca or call 416 972-6303.
