News: YCI launches Youth Challenge America Inc.Youth Challenge International (YCI) is pleased to announce the launch of Youth Challenge America Inc. (YCA), head quartered in New York City. YCA will implement a joint program approach and strategy in partnership with its parent company YCI.
YCA has been incorporated in the State of New York and is currently processing the 501.3.c US charities registration with the Internal Revenue Service. We anticipate Youth Challenge America to be fully registered by June 2010. With the current status, certain operations and activities can commence, however, we will not be able to issue tax receipts to donors/volunteers, or apply for certain types of US funding until the registration process is complete.
YCI will provide operations and programs support to YCA including volunteer recruitment & placement, finance, marketing, fundraising, web site support and program development.
