March 20, 2009 - Timeraiser 2009!YCI is excited to announce that we will be participating in this year’s Timeraiser in Toronto on March 21 2009!

The Timeraiser is a charity art auction where, rather than money, participants bid a number of hours they can afford to an organization (or organizations) of their choice. Winning bidders have 12 months to complete their pledge, and then bring the artwork home as a reminder of their goodwill.
Throughout the evening, participants meet with different representatives from a variety of organizations and match their skills to the organization’s needs.
To date, the Timeraiser has:
> Generated 38,000 community hours
> Worked with 200 nonprofit and voluntary organizations
> Engaged 2,480 Canadians to pick up a cause
> Invested over $204,000 in the careers of Canadian artists
