Stephen Brown - Chair and President
Stephen is a management consultant and partner with Deloitte Consulting, where he specializes in supply chain and logistics strategy for Fortune 500 companies.

Shauna Houlton - Vice-Chair
Shauna is the Director of Consumer Insights for Corus Entertainment where she is responsible for all primary research for their TV Sales Division. Shauna was also a participant in Costa Rica, a Group Leader in Guyana and worked at YCI as the Youth Program Manager

Kevin Thomason - Secretary
Kevin Thomason, has worked in technology and marketing for companies such as Apple Computer, KPMG, Quarry Integrated Communications and recently as the co-founder of a leading technology start-up purchased by Google.  Kevin has helped to pioneer a Greenbelt Plan that has protected thousands of acres from development, has travelled extensively, and sits on a number of local and international Boards of Directors.  He has been involved with YCI in a variety of capacities since going to Guyana as a participant in 1991.

Paritosh Gambhir - Treasurer
Paritosh is currently a Senior Manager at KPMG in Toronto Canada. Paritosh started his career with KPMG in Zambia.

Daniel Abichandani
Daniel Abichandani is a management consultant with Deloitte’s Strategy and Operations practice.  Daniel has a history of volunteerism focused on youth-centric causes as evidenced by his involvement with both Artbound and formerly, Junior Achievement of Toronto and York Region.  His belief in the importance of global citizenship/development and the role that today’s youth will ultimately play as champions of global causes are his key motives for joining the YCI board.  With an approach on life best defined as  “drink deep or taste not” - his other personal interests include supporting the arts, travel, and writing.

Steve Cornish
Steve has spent over a decade working with humanitarian organizations including Médecins Sans Frontières, the Canadian Red Cross and CARE Canada - where he is currently serving as Policy and Advocacy Advisor. He was a group leader for YCI in Costa Rica in 1994-95.

Elizabeth Gore
Elizabeth Gore is a management consultant with Deloitte’s Strategy and Operations practice. Elizabeth’s volunteer experience with youth includes Big Brothers and Big Sisters S.O.A.R program, Loving Arms and Interim Place Women’s Shelter. Elizabeth was drawn to YCI as an opportunity to support an organization to inspire and enable youth to become involved in global development. Elizabeth’s other personal interests include running, the outdoors and travel.

Michael Kocher
Michael Kocher is the Vice President of international programs for the International Rescue Committee (IRC), a leading humanitarian organization providing relief, protection, rehabilitation and resettlement services for displaced persons and victims of oppression and violent conflict. He has been featured on numerous major television and radio news programs and widely quoted in both the US and international press. He holds a law degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Lindsay Page
Lindsay Page is the Head of Public Mobilization at WWF Canada, and has worked in the public, private and not for profit sectors on engaging the public to bring about social change.  She lived and worked extensively in South Africa, where she worked on youth entrepreneurship and corporate social investment projects, and was a strategist at Manifest Communications, a Toronto-based consulting and marketing firm focusing on social issues.  Lindsay studied Commerce at the University of Windsor and International Journalism and Society at the London School of Economics.

Julius Tapper 
Julius is a senior finance analyst in the strategy group at TD Securities. Julius’ volunteer experience includes helping launch a business skills and microfinance program in rural Kenya with Students for International Development: a youth-run NGO, where he currently serves on the board as the Finance Chair.
