Here in Canada we’ve been inspired by the successful USHUJAA campaign in Tanzania which has raised awareness and encouraged testing among youth. In support of the campaign we are bringing it to Canada! Check out how you can get involved.

At YCI we have been working on HIV/AIDS for over ten years. HIV/AIDS is a central topic in the lives of young people in their sexual prime. Our Canadian volunteers have worked closely with developing country youth to provide correct and factual information on HIV/AIDS, anti-stigma sensitization and counseling.

Yet it has remained hard not to be daunted by the constant litany of worsening statistics. For years we have seen the incidence rate go up. Not this year. Read more...

Little Travellers. Little Travellers are beautiful small pins made by South African women affected with HIV/AIDS. All proceeds from selling these pins worldwide go to fighting AIDS in South Africa. Visit the website.
Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS. The GYCA is a youth-led, UNAIDS and UNFPA supported alliance of over 3000 young leaders and adult allies working on youth and HIV/AIDS in 150 countries world-wide. Visit the website
